I use Buff Perfect in EDM, at the moment I am using 1WG:11 medium coverage Ivory and it is pretty good depth wise, but too yellow. Maybe very slightly too dark too. Should I add a bit of peach, or ebony? I am no good with colours, lol.
Thank you

Hi Lily,
I think you should try Olive.......It might not sound like the right thing, but for those of us that WG is too yellow, and Ebony is too pink, it is the best match.

Buff Perfect is an olive base. I remember when they came up with 8 or 9 new foundation colours according to customer request. That was one which was a blend of either Olive fair / light and one of the Ivories. (I think it was blowfaraway who requested it). Yeah, definitely an olive base with a hint of beige neutral (very diluted brown).

Yes that's the list of requests compiled from the thread where people described their favourite mixes. I'm still certain that there is olive in it. I just remember the fuss that was made because so many came out with such little difference between them.

I don't think buff perfect is an olive, apparently it has 'the perfect mix of pink and yellow undertones', I tried lots of the olive colours on EDM because for a while I thought I was olive, but none of them worked for me
... however I will give the silk naturals olive base a try. I think I should probably just buy the kit with all the base colours and have a play, I was just hoping it would be easy
Thanks to everyone who replied

When you use two base colors do you use half scoops or two full scoops and double the ivory? Thanks!

For testing to preserve Ivory, try using half scoops....but when you scale up for use you can just use twice the Ivory.
