Summer fling?

Post by jandi » Mon Oct 19, 2009 9:22 pm

Hi,

I adore the color of summer fling, however, as it is getting colder, I am finding it is not as moisturizing as the solid glosses/lipsticks (I guess the solid versions stay longer on my lips, I am not sure, but they keep my lips softer for longer). Which solid lippie is closest to summer fling?

Thanks!

I pulled them all out today.......Raindrops on Roses is a sheer version and pretty close...... Simmer is a more pigmented version........

Raindrops on Roses seems cooler to me, though I love it. Love Summer Fling too. Didn't need to hear that Simmer is like it - cos really how many more lippies do I need?

That one, obviously :P

I'm going to agree with Xarata that while nothing is quite like it, Berry Crush is similar in tone, and so is Foreplay - though they're both a bit lighter in hue.

How about using the clear lipgloss first and Summer Fling over top of it if moisture is a problem?

Thanks for your suggestions!

The clear lippie is a great idea, I go through lip balm like candy during winter. I was thinking of getting a clear black label lippie for a while now, but the shiny mixed metals made me forget all about it.

Raindrops on Roses is lovely, but on me it appears redder. I think I have Peace somewhere, should dig it out. I had not payed attention to Cultured and Simmer, but they are going to have to jump on my next order. One thing I love of the packaging of the lippies - they are compact enough no one can tell how many of them I have, mwahaha...
