Close to Enigma.......

Post by ladycattat » Sun Oct 11, 2009 1:04 pm

I've really fallen in love with the GWP shade, Enigma. Can you ladies suggest any new or favorite eyeshadow colors that might be close?
thanks,

Hmmm, I can't think of any, just wanted to join in show love for Enigma :) I actually started doing more neutrals so I can use it!

cougar. They aren't identical (enigma is a little warmer/pinker and cougar is a little cooler/purpler) but they're pretty close.

Sorry my swatch isn't better but it's almost 2am so the lighting pretty much stinks and if i go closeup the flash reflects off my skin. It's not totally accurate becase i had to toggle the contrast just to make it visible from the flash but i feel it does show the similarity fairly well at least.

Hello!

I hardly ever post on here, but weirdly I was just coming on to the forum to ask the very same thing! Ever since I received Enigma I've not been able to stop using it, that little pot has become by far my favourite shadow. I use it foiled on the lid as part of a smoky eye and it is also subtle enough to use for a shimmering taupe colour wash that doesn't look ashy with my warm colouring.

I'm gonna be very sad if I ever lose it, don't suppose there's any chance of Enigma making it into the permanent collection one day???

There's a lot of folks who would *love* a limited edition re-release of some of the GWPs - maybe as a Christmas treat perhaps? hint hint beg plead... If we keeps asking nicely maybe Karen will consider it. :D

Cougar is a very very nice colour - had that one since it came out, I think. I don't usually do neutrals, but that's a great one with a bit of a - twist (pardon the pun). It looks a lot more interesting on than it does in the swatch.

Goes well with Wildcat and many others. Give it a try!
