Re: Need Foundation Help? Please post here.......
:D Thanks for all your help, Jen. I ordered an Olive starter kit in All Purpose. Something in the original ivory irritated my skin a little, but I don't think it's in the All Purpose. 1:12 was a little too light I think, and 1:8 was too dark, so I'll keep playing with the ratio. I don't want to mix ...

Re: Need Foundation Help? Please post here.......
I got my samples in the mail this week and haven't had much time to try them out. I did mix 1 ebony with 6 ivory though. It's good, but not quite right. It looks ok if I just apply one light layer, but when I start building on that, the color is off. I think I need a little tiny bit of yellow but I'...

Re: Need Foundation Help? Please post here.......
I think I would start with Ebony. Try 1 scoop color to about 6 white scoops. If this one does not work...try to get an idea of what is missing and we can adjust from there. Is that for the original coverage? All bases will all be pretty close. Within a few scoops of white of each other. Thanks Jen!...

Re: Tinting Silk Powder?
I can't speak for the silk powder but I use the Ultimate Luxury Treatment Powder without tinting and it doesn't look chalky at all, just provides a nice softening effect. My favorite thing for no makeup days is actually Date Bait. I know a lot of ladies use half and half ratio Date Bait mixed with ...

Tinting Silk Powder?
Years (and years) ago, Everyday Minerals had a product called Tinted SIlk Dust. It was my favorite thing ever, and then they discontinued it. I loved it for no makeup days. I'm SO glad to see that SN has a silk powder, but it's white. I don't remember if there was anything else in the Silk Dust besi...

Re: Need Foundation Help? Please post here.......
Hi! I just ordered a few different sample kits so I could try out the different bases and coverages. I have NO idea where to start. We lived in Hawaii for a few years and recently moved to Virginia. I've lost a lot of color over the course of this winter and my makeup is no longer the right color. I...
