Super serum making skin dry?
Hi all, In an attempt to start some sort of skin care regimen (besides just washing my face every day and using sunscreen when I remember) I got some of the Super Serum and started using it at night. It makes my skin feel taut and a little dry after application, and after a while I started noticing ...

Re: treating chapped lips
Drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. I apply a moisturizing lip balm right after I take a shower to make sure I lock in the most moisture. SN's Black Label lippies are great for this. So are the lip balms made by Chagrin Valley Soap and Craft. I've also started using Chagrin Valley's squa...

Sun freckles
Any advice on getting rid of (or at least reducing the appearance of) freckles from sun exposure? I'm starting to realize I should have listened to my mom about wearing sunscreen. I'm trying to be more vigilant about sunscreen now, but I still slip every now and then. I've been told vitamin C helps,...

Wow, Tibet! That's exotic. I don't think you have a monolid. I definitely see a double eye lid in your picture above. Its rather confusing though. Because I had someone tell me that there's "socket line" and there's "crease". And apparently, the "socket line" is the li...

Re: Brown Sugar & Vanilla Lip Scrub - unlikely Hero product
Sounds delicious. And with my constantly chapped lips, something I could use. I only discovered Silk Naturals fairly recently and I'm already having trouble reigning in my spending  (I've read that cosmetics sales go up during recessions, because in hard financial times makeup is something wom...

Aztec and Vanilla would definitely be on my list. Then maybe something purple or pink. I haven't gotten very good at doing eyeshadow stuff yet so I'm still going for subtle natural looks.

skin tone definitions
So I'm a bit of a makeup newbie and I'm not really sure what to call my skin tone. Ethnically I'm Asian, which usually means warm, golden undertones (unless I'm mistaken), but I've had some cool toned lip color shades work for me. With clothing, I can generally pull off both jewel tones and warmer c...

beeswax free lip products
Hi, I'm new to Silk Naturals, which I found while looking for natural personal care/cosmetic products. I must say a lot of this stuff looks great; I'm looking forward to ordering some samples soon. One question, do you carry any lip glosses that don't contain beeswax? I used Burt's Bees lip balms fo...
