This blush is AWESOME on my warm brown African American skin. It adds a healthy glow when used sparingly and I get so many compliments on how Im glowing (my coworkers think Im pregnant).
This is a good blush for Black women who thought that blush "isn't for us". A must have

Very nice. IReview by Holly U.
Very nice. I was getting a little bored with red and pink blushes, and I definitely can't do cool colors. So this was a perfect alternative and now it's one of my favorites. This gives me the right warm, fresh, sun-kissed and healthy flush that makes me feel more confident. Your cheeks will look absolutely juicy...you might be tempted to pinch your own cheeks..heheh. It can be super cute or sultry. I don't even need eye make-up or dramatic lips..the blush is enough pop. I have very pale olive skin with a little yellow undertone, and this blush doesn't look like a clownish orange or carrot juice smeared on the face. But you really must be careful with the amount. As another reviewer said, you only need to start with a few grains on which you can build on. I don't have a fiber-optic brush, but I can still manage to apply lightly.

This blush is wonderful for African-American women. With a light hand, it really warms up the complexion almost like a bronzer would. If you use a heavier hand, it gives your look some impact. Just be careful because it is richly pigmented. I never tried the original Nars blush, but this has become a go-to for me. Beautiful!!

LOVE ! I have olive tan skin, and this looks gorgeous on my skin tone...It really is a unique color, I would recommend putting it on with a fiber optic brush.

Karen is not joking when she says that this is very pigmented & to proceed with caution, you literally need a couple of grains for each cheek :-) I would not even attempt using this without some sort of fibre optic brush and don't apply for the first time right before a big night out (you really do need to practice at least once in advance!) and if your counter top is white put your jar on a tissue.

Warnings aside, it is an absolutely gorgeous colour on the skin, really livens up your face when paired with a neutral eye and lips (Purr on the lid over Bone as a base with Maiden or just balm on the lips); I've also tried it as an eye shadow and it looks lovely.
