Oil Control Primer- Tinted

Our Oil Control Primer is all oil controlling ingredients- Calcium Carbonate, Silk Powder, and Silica- so it's wonderful for absorbing the oilies, and blurs pores like you wouldn't believe. Just a slight dusting under your powder foundation will make it last longer and look better. You can wear it all over your face, or just where you tend to get oily.

This tinted version is great for deeper skin tones.

The Oil Control Primer comes in a 30 gram jar with 1 tablespoon of product, samples are 1/4 teaspoon in a 5-gram jar.

Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Silk Powder, Silica, Iron Oxide.

Gluten Free.

I'm obsessed with this. It is amazing for taking away shine and keeping oils under control. I have used it as a base under mineral foundation, and I have used it to set liquid foundations. Works great for both, but just use a light hand when using it to set liquid foundation so you don't look cakey or overly matte.
One of my favorite uses is as an eyeshadow primer. I dust this over my lids and my eyeshadows blends soooo easily on top! And since this keeps oils away, it actually keeps my eyeshadows from creasing. Love, love love!!

Clearly magicians are working at Silk Naturals because this product and the Tinted Finishing Powder (blur) are phenomenal. These two are the best natural powders I've ever used. I've had a tough time adjusting to the way natural makeup photographs. I'd put on my makeup and look great in the mirror. Then, my face would come out super oily in photographs. It looked almost as if I was running around and sweating in photographs taken at a party. These two products give me a completely flawless finish. The finish is comparable to high-end finishes you see on the makeup gurus on Instagram and YouTube. You can also use liquid and cream foundation on top of this primer. My skin is super oily and I moisturize with a blend of glycerin and jojoba oil. After putting on a gel primer, my foundation was pretty much sliding around while I was blending it into my face. To stop that from happening I used this power primer on top of the gel primer then applied my creamy stick-foundations (I blend the foundation I got from here with another I bought from Etsy). Applying my makeup this way gave me a more even application that didn't slide around but was still easy to blend.

I'm definitely a HUGE fan of Silk Naturals. Not to mention, their prices are the most competitive and their shipping is FAST!
