Apple- Rosey Red Vegan Blush

Apple is a warmish, sort of rosey, brick red blush with just the slightest hint of shimmer. It's a nice bolder warm red, great for deeper skin tones, or applied very lightly on paler skin for a superb evening look.

Samples are 1/8 teaspoon in a 5 gram jar.  Full size is 1-1/2 teaspoons (7 ml)  in a 10-gram sifter jar.

Ingredients:  Mica, Silica, Iron Oxide

I ordered thisReview by Aparajita K.
I ordered this foundation in the full size and I was so scared that it would either not show up on my skin at all (a lot of blushes do that since I'm on the darker side) or be frightfully bright. It was neither - what I got was a beautifully reddish flush on my cheeks that got me a million compliments! I recommend this to all the darker skinned girls out there!

Ordered this oneReview by Sandra K.
Ordered this one as a sample as well. I've had so many disappointments with ordering blush online. Thankfully, the Silk Naturals blushes seem to be better than what I've experienced in the past.

This shows up on my skin darker than I expected it to, so I need very very little to give myself some color. I did overdo it on the first cheek, but blended it out and toned it down with a bit of silica and serecite. It is very nice, a tiny bit shimmery, not sparkly - to my eye - and has a nice tone to it. Gives a nice healthy color to the cheeks. 'Apple' is a suitable name for it. Just use it very sparingly, or you'll wind up looking like an escapee from the asylum who put her makeup on in a drunken rush hahaha

The only thing I'm finding I don't like so much with the blushes is the packaging. In order to get just a tiny bit on the brush and apply without it streaking, you've got to dump some out on a tissue, piece of foil, paper, whatever and pick it up from there. Which means there's some waste. I hate waste, especially when I like a product :-) Otherwise you wind up with a crazy amount on your brush from trying to dip it in the jar. That being said, the product is very nice :-)

Definitely give this one a try!
