ARGH! I ordered the wrong palette, LOL!

I was SO excited to come home to a box from Karen today. I've been drooling over the new Muse palette since it came out. I didn't even look at the color name of the 1st jar. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be Basalt, LOL! On the positive side, I have an excuse to place another order!

But they both start with S and you really needed a good neutrals palette, anyway. Even I find it comes in handy sometimes, and I really love Quartzite, Moonstone, and Aztec. Bone and Basalt are too extreme for me, so I gave away those, but the rest are all good - and most people can wear black eyeliner. It's just my particular redhead pale thing that I can't.

While Smashbox is important, too, I'd suggest one more slip of the finger for the Shimmery Party Quad (yet another S - are we seeing a theme here?) cos that one is absolutely gorgeous, and probably my fave kit so far - and I have most of them. It is, I grant, shimmery, but with a light hand not overly so, and coppers are flattering to just about everybody.

And oh - such coppers as they are!

You know you're going to end up with all of them eventually, if you want to be philosophical about it
