Raven or Coal?

Hi,

I would like to line my eyes. A well defined, thin line around the lashes. To make my black lashes look fuller and put more expression to my brown eyes. Might even try a cat-liner. I am pretty new to eyelining. Always found that it made me look too harsh, but i guess I never applied it fien enough with a pencil liner and also on its own it may look harsh but if i do some dark brown smudging line underneath the lower lashes it looks fine.

So now my question is shall i use the coal liner or the raven? What is the difference? Is Raven really black, looks midnight blue in the jar in the pic? Maybe my eyes will be botheerd by the coal, as they are quite sensitive and not used to liner (want to use it in the waterline too)?

Thanks for your answers.

I really don't recommend using either on the waterline. Maybe you will get some more feedback on that from others.

Raven is a basic black. Coal is like a super concentrated black. It just covers better than Raven. Since you want a very fine line, I think I would choose Coal.
