on jury duty

hi gals,
I'm going to be sorta mia from the forum for the next couple of weeks since I'll be on a the jury on a really ugly court case. Suffice to say, I am NOT a happy camper!

Sorry to hear about your jury duty, Laurie! Hugs! The last time I was summoned, I had two non-school age kids and they let me skip it, but I know sometimes they don't allow that. It was weird, too. The girlfriend who would have been able to watch my kids a few days got summoned for the same week.
It might be a good time to do some reading. I would probably take some knitting if they would allow it.

I'm baaaaaack! We finally reached a verdict today and I am sooo happy this is over!!!! I'm even more happy that the scumbag plaintiff that was doing the sue-ing did not get one red cent!!!! (And he had requested approx 50 million!!!!!)
I am so happy to get my life back!
