Hi, I'm new to Silk Naturals, which I found while looking for natural personal care/cosmetic products. I must say a lot of this stuff looks great; I'm looking forward to ordering some samples soon.

One question, do you carry any lip glosses that don't contain beeswax? I used Burt's Bees lip balms for years until my lips developed a contact allergy to beeswax, and now anything with beeswax in it makes my lips raw and cracked. Unfortunately beeswax seems to be a major component of most all-natural lip products, leaving me with the artificial stuff with mineral oil and petrolatum.

If not, that's okay, I'm still quite eager to try out the finishing powders and eyeshadows offered by Silk Naturals. But does anyone have any recommendations for beeswax free natural lip products?

Ouch! That doesn't sound like fun. The liquid wand glosses don't have any beeswax in them- unfortunately the rest do at the moment.

the liquid glosses are nice, but if your lips are as dry as mine always are, you'll also want to use a moisturizing agent under them. (No, I don't know where you can get a good one without beeswax in it... I know there are some vegan ones but I haven't tried them)

I sometimes use a very thin layer of shea butter as a lip balm - it works very well for me and maybe you can give it a try. :)

Booda Organics makes a naked lip balm that I use. It's unflavored, unscented and has no beeswax.
