forum newbie here. does anyone know what foundation ratio of buttery gold and medium ivory will dupe Meow's Naughty Abyssinian shade in their Pampered Puss (medium) formula? i got a pretty close match in the PP formula but it was a tad dark in their Flawless Feline (heavy) formula. thanks in advance everyone!

Well shoot. I just checked my samples and I don't seem to have that one. From looking at a swatch- I'd start with 1 part buttery gold, and about 5 parts white. You may need a bit more buttery gold, but it's easier to darken colors than it is to lighten them.

You might like the new Yellow colour booster too. I remember a lady from another forum describing Abyssinian as almost "pure yellow" so that might help a little?

hey everyone, i just wanted to give you guys a little report back. i got way too excited and started mixing as soon as i got back from work (around 5:30pm) as there was still a good amount of light.

karen, you were so dead one about the mixture, 1 part shade to 5 parts white was definitely the right mix for me. helena, you're right about needing some of the yellow booster, so i'll definitely be ordering that. how much of the yellow booster do you guys think i'll need? half a scoop? is there a smaller scoop i can get on the site? i'll report back again once i get the yellow booster!

on another note, which Sleep in a Jar shade would you guys suggest? Original? Extra Light Peach? Light Peach? it looks like the Light Peach one would be a little too peachy for me. any thoughts?

Just popping in to say that yep, 1:5 med ivory is great, and yep, need more yellow :p My yellow booster is coming in the mail too, can't wait to get back to SN foundation.

bluejava, I have no suggestions for sleep in a jar.. but I have to spread the SN lippie love. They're so wonderful, pigmented, and MOISTURIZING! Foreplay is a gorgeous light summery colour and Nectar is a little more posied and darker/red.

i've actually been eyeing the lippies for a while. my lips are a little weird tho. sometimes they're really pigmented and others it tones down to a pale mauve pink. :\ have you tried the demi-glosses before? here are some lippies i've been wondering about. i've seen swatches for these but it's always nice to hear about someone else's experience with them. thx!
