Aha initial breakouts

Hello=)
I started using the AHA Toner every other night. My skin tone is looking much better, however I started getting little bumps on my cheek where I normally never break out.I realize that you might experience purging in the beginning, but has anybody else experienced breakouts in places where you don’t normally get it. Is that considered normal. And if so how long does it usually last?
