Zinc powder

Post by superkdc » Thu Jan 25, 2018 5:15 pm

What is the best way to apply the zinc powder to get full face coverage?

Also, is there any way to tint it?

Thank you.

For application, use a brush similar to your finishing powders.

I don't think you will get much coverage from it as it is pretty sheer in itself. You can tint it, but it is very easy to overdo it. I only recommend medium to dark skintones go that route if it looks ashy. I know that sounds weird, but in order to show a tint, it helps to have a white base color to start from. The Zinc tends to go on much more sheer than our foundations.

I'd love to see a good video tutorial on how to do all that, Jen. Do you know of any?

I don't know of any tutorials, unfortunately. The way I know is trial and error. And my too dark error just had to be mixed with more zinc. What you want is the lowest number of color scoops in order that the zinc does not show up.
