Severe pregnancy acne

Hello,

I am 28 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing severe breakouts on my face, chest and back and sometimes upper arms since becoming pregnant. I started using the AHA toner and the wasabi spot treatment at night 6 weeks ago and after about two weeks I started seeing great results with these products (thank you for creating these). The breakouts didn't go away completely but it started to feel like I was getting them under control (on my face and chest). Very recently my back started to improve as well. However, this last week I started getting some cystic-like pimples on my face and a few small pimples on my chest. I am considering ordering mamas helper or anything else you recommend. Can you please let me know which products may help my problem. I am desperate as my skin scars VERY easily and now I am left with a bunch of ugly brown marks everywhere. My diet is very clean so I'm not sure what else I can do. Also, if I order mama's helper, should I be using it after the AHA toner dries down or should I use it in the morning?

Thanks,
Crystal

Mama's Helper is a good thing to try. Unfortunately, acne during pregnancy is likely homonal.

Thanks...

Am I ok applying mamas helper after the AHA toner dries down in the evening? Or should I be only using the serum in the morning?

They should be fine together after the AHA dries.

Great, thank you.

Just another question. Can I expect any flakiness from mama's helper or a small "purge period" after starting it?

Thanks

I can't really predict what your skin will do. I would guess no flakiness. And in itself the Mama's Helper should not cause a small purge.

Purges can be caused by lots of other things, including hormones. In pregnancy you can expect skin changes without altering your routine at all.
