Good Morning Ladies,
I was thinking, since our product line has significantly expanded this year, it is time to update what we are wearing the most often.
First, my coloring. I am a light Peach these days. I can't really give an idea of my ratio, because I have been lightening my whole batch of foundation as we are heading into Winter. I am guessing it is in the 1Peach:16 OriginalIvory (remember Peach is one of the darkest color bases) range. I have dark hair and eyes. I also have medium pigmented lips.
My everyday face:
Light Peach Concelaer....(I need to go to Extra Light)
Eyes- Sandy (all over wash) and Rizzo (outer lid) eyeshadows with Amethyst Cream Liner and Black mascara
Cheeks-Embrace Blush
Lips- generally Tender or Fig Leaf
Finisher- Blur or Date Bait
My party face:
Eyes- Cheer (all over wash) and Soiree (outer lid), with Chestnut (outer vee) over Mahogany Cream Liner with Black Mascara
Cheeks-Satisfied
Lips- Morello or Supreme
Finisher- Splendid Perfecting Glow
I am still working on the brow powders, but will update when I figure that one out!
What are your staples these days?

Blur, no matter what else I'm wearing! I also use it prior to e/s as an all-over wash/backdrop. Everything else varies daily!

Lately i have been wearing a 1 peach 1 warm gold to 10-11 Ivory. Usually lovelace for blush, but I do stray from this occasionally. and everything else varies, as it depends on whether or not I'm in the mood for some fun color or not. I still prefer Tempt Tryst for FP, but have Blur coming, so we will see.
Jen , Karen or somebody , could you help me figure out a recipe for a larger amount of foundation based on the ratio I gave above?
Thanks, Hollis

Hollis,
To increase a 1:1:10..........
What is the smallest scoop you have? The one that comes in the kits is a 1/32tsp. Do you have a 1/8tsp.(=4scoops)? I am sure you hav a 1/4tsp. (=8scoops) in your kitchen.
for four times your recipe:
You can do 4 scoops WG (or 1/8tsp.), 4 scoops Peach (or 1/8tsp), 5 measurings of 1/4 tsp. Ivory
You may still need another 1/8 tsp(or 4 scoops) of Ivory..to get up to the 'or 11' in your recipe. You may still reqire a little more Ivory to get the right tone due to scaling up.

Thanks Jen, when my recent order arrives I'll try the proportions that you gave me and see how well that works.

Foundation is 1 ebony : 1/6 buttery : 11 ivory for winter
Lots of Unblush and, if I need it, Light Peach undereye.
Cheeks: Pretty Plum or Carnal (lightly!)
Lips: PURE black label rocks my world right now; normally I would wear color but in the dry winter air I have to really mound the lippie on for moisture so I just stick with clear.
Eyes: varies with the day, but I LOVE Sleighbell! And I wear a lot of green/red/silver/gold combinations in December. I wear different eye makeup every day but for winter I'm finding that I wear lots of Dolce, Gator Gold, Rebel. Getting away from Vineyard and Bling since my tan has faded - those were my fall mainstays. I haven't really decided on a winter mainstay yet. Getting away from eyeliner for everyday cause it takes time. Brown mascara.
Usually wear the white perfecting powder. I like blur but I can't really tell the difference on my skin.
I'm doing the Vitamin C on half my face to see how it helps (or if it inflames my sensitive skin).

A few weeks ago I had to dump in just about the entire refill of white foundation powder to lighten my autumn foundation. Even after that, I was wondering why I looked so orange going about my day... Turns out Love Lure is wayyyy too dark for me at this point. I didn't even realize I had gotten so much lighter!
But anyway, here's what I'm wearing lots:
Perfecting Powder as primer under my foundation -- LOVE this!
Buttery Gold -- can't tell anymore what the ratio is. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 : 5-6?
Everything else changes daily, although:
I really love Carpe Diem. I'm wearing this daily until it runs out because it's so fabulous. I wish the tube were clear so I could tell how soon that sad day will be.
Instead of wearing greens and browns, I'm wearing more plums and silvery-cool colors for eyeshadow.

Hi all,
this is my first winter of wearing SN products & am really impressed with how my skin still feels fresh, rather than the parched sensation I have had in the past in cold weather with other mineral brands.
My everyday basics are the same as in my signature (SN foundation, tempt tryst) plus SN mascara now I have purchased (& love) it. I have a couple of looks I use regularly at the moment, dependent on if I need something cooler toned, or warmer:
Cool shades
Bone shadow all over as a base colour/under brow highlight
Idolize all over the lid
Velvet in the outer 'v'
Embrace (BB Mauve dupe) or Charming (MAC Pleasantry dupe) blush
Rhonda gloss
For something a little 'warmer' toned my go to shades would be:
Bone (as above)
Luxe shadow (all over the lid or in face just in the crease for a really simple look)
Teak-ie or Expensive Pink shadow in the outer 'v'
Bronze Beauty blush (or coco berry for a bit more colour)
Gold Blush gloss
and if I'm really short of time I use:
Bone (as above)
Vanilla (highlight under brow)
swipe of black liner
Forbidden blush (for a festive pop of colour)
Clear gloss.
Txx

I flipped my e/s upside down so now I can't see the names, only the colors. It has opened up whole new worlds of color combinations for me.
Today I combined Dolce, Bling, and Highbeam - who knew that could work?? It was great!
Yesterday I combined Sandy, Sprite, and Plush - again, unexpected combination, but great!
I am really into pinks and golds right now (I am always into pinks and golds, but I am getting into the lighter shades for my winter sallow...it's great!!) and until the jar-flipping exercise I didn't realize just how many pinks and golds I had to play with!!

Here's my everyday winter face for now:
Foundation: 1 warm gold - 12 ivory (both in medium coverage); I was thinking of adding another scoop of ivory
Under-eye concealer: Extra light peach
silk powder finishing powder
blush: Lovelace or Climax
lips: Foreplay
I have a problem with my skin being too dry, especially around the mouth for some reason.

So I usually do only one layer foundation, conceal, then finishing powder.
