How to darken buttery gold

I think I'm a buttery gold. I tried 1:10 (buttery gold:ivory) and it was too light so I tried 1:6 and it's too yellow without being dark/tan enough. I tried 1:0.5:6 (buttery gold:ebony:ivory) and it was still too light yellow so I tried 1:1:6 (buttery gold:ebony:ivory) and it became too orange. How do I darken buttery gold without it being too yellow or orange? or am I not a buttery gold? TIA
Here are the swatches I described - (I tried to neutralize redness on my cheek so it is paler than my jawline and neck)

There are a few things you could try. You might just need to lighten the 1BG:1E:6Ivory. Generally, if a foundation is too orange it is too dark. Try adding an Ivory scoop or two to that mix. Another option is to add a scoop, or a scoop and a half, of Ebony to your 1BG:10Ivory mix. This will be pretty close to the above option, too.
Otherwise, you may be a blend of Warm Gold and Ebony in about the same ratio 1WG:1Ebony:7-9Ivory. I really don't see any strong yellow in your skintone, so I am betting on the Warm Gold/Ebony/Ivory mix.

Thanks so much for your recommendation, Jen. I really appreciate you taking the time on a Sunday evening. I'm looking forward to trying the warm gold mix tomorrow. Thanks again!
