Bank Robbery

Someone robbed a bank. That's right. It's not a joke. They robbed a bank, ran away, had a high-speed carchase with gunfire until they collided with police cars. 1 died, one got caught, and one is hiding -armed and probably injured- somewhere in the general area. My town is in LOCKDOWN. Kids are not allowed to leave their schools-and their parents can't come get them either. I am sitting in my house with the doors locked waiting for lockdown to be lifted. I called off work because it took me half an hour to go 1 mile (took an hour to drive from my mom's to my own house- usually a 10-15 minute drive). I figured if it was that hard getting in, imagine how hard it would be getting out. Traffic is shut down in every direction because my town is in the middle of everything and includes part of 2 pike (PA turnpike and carlisle pike). And, to top it off- it's rush hour.

Is this really what the economy has come to? The recession begins- with a bang.

Scary indeed! We had one in dinky little Watkins Glen a few months back- the guy "escaped" on foot though, so no lockdowns. Glad to hear that you're safe and have a night off!
