which products should I use

Post by kmill » Sun Nov 16, 2014 2:53 pm

I was looking at all the descriptions of the vitamin c serums & trying to decide which ones I should try. I'm 53 & have oily skin. Thankfully no long acne prone. I also want to try a different cleanser. I've been using the OCM but not really happy with it any longer. I started the OCM a couple years ago & really liked it but then had to go thru chemo. My skin wasn't oily during chemo & for several months afterward. When it started getting oily again I started OCM back up & have been doing it for 6 months or so but I'm just not really happy with it now. I've gotten several large pores right in the middle of my forehead that I want to try & reduce or eliminate.

Our Apricot cleanser is just a little different than OCM because there is an emulsifier that helps it to rinse cleaner. It would be worth a try for you. Otherwise, the KISS cleanser is a simple and mild cleanser to try if it does not work.

As for a serum, the Vitamin C Peptide should also be good. At your age, you might want to consider something a little more potent like Facelift.

Thank you very much for your help. I'll look at both of those products.

Could you also suggest a toner?

Toners can do different things.

I love the AHA for getting rid of the slight dry flakes of skin on the surface.

The Pore Refining might be what you want for the enlarged pores, but BHA might help there, also.

I know that does not narrow it down much, but I usually have a few toners going at once as I use them for different purposes.

What else do you use? If you don't use BHA Toner, I recommend that.
