I'm a MAC NW18 with their liquid foundations, which is more neutral, less pink than the lighter NW15 and the darker NW20 on either side of it. I basically have a neutral complexion that leans a little cooler than warmer. For example, Date Bate's a little too pink and light on me, while Love Lure's too orange.
Which of the cream foundations should I try? Any suggestion for a good place to start with the powder foundations?
I'm in my 50's with a few fine lines and some deeper. Not too oily or dry. Never worn foundation before. Should I go with the cream or the powder?
Thanks in advance!
Foundation similar to MAC NW18?
Re: Foundation similar to MAC NW18?
Start with the neutrals in the cream shades, probably about 20 and the shade on either side. I think the cooler line will be too pink, but pick up a 20 in that too, just in case.
For powder shades: Ebony for sure. Your ratio will be 1 scoop color to about 9 white.
I am thinking the cream foundation will probably suit you better.
