eyeshadow container

Post by Lalama » Fri Nov 08, 2013 1:49 pm

Hi ladies, I was just thinking this morning as I was fumbling through my makeup bag to find my eyeshadows (which I do every morning) that I should really get some sort of container that I can easily read the lables and grab them. The eye kit containers look perfect if they came in bigger sizes. Any idea where I could find some like it?

Wow Oxana, that's exactly what I had in mind and great price! Thanks for your help, I can't wait to organize my cluttered makeup bag, it's only taken me a few years to clean it up

Please don`t take this the wrong way, but just a heads up about links to other manufacturers or companies...

I put out a link at one time - just like the one Oxana put out now, and Karen came in and deleted it because she said links like that was sending everyone out of SN and into other shops, and she didt want that. So perhaps be a bit carefull with links to other companies out of respect for Karen. :)

oh, ok. i was thinking that only applied for links to a competing product/company. since this was not something SN sells, but just a container one would use to store SN shadows in, I thought it would be ok. but i will surely be more careful in the future, and of course if that link need to be deleted that is totally fine.

I know Oxana, that was what I was thinking too when I posted my link. This was around 2 1/2 years ago. I posted about a container from a place that specialized in them, and it wasn`t a type that SN carried or is carrying.
Since Karen politely told me about this I just wanted to pass it on, I wouldn`t have said anything if it hadn`t been for that. Sorry if I am sticking my nose in where it doesn`t belong

Since we don't outright sell anything similar to this tin, or anything on the site, really, I will leave the link for now. Karen may think differently. However, buyer beware. I have noticed they charge a huge amount for shipping. (I was going to buy tea tins from there at one time!)

I have some containers that are a little bigger than the eye kit tins. They are plastic and they are called the "really useful box". They come in all sizes but I have found these little 0.2 liter ones at Staples and I use them for my eye shadows and foundation.

You can find them online too.

oh wow, their shipping is pricey, it's $7, so the total till be $8 something.
On Etsy you can find same tin for about $7 total.
Plus if you google hinged tin container you will probably find a whole ton of all different varieties.

Thanks for the heads up on shipping! I have to run to the mall today so I'm going to check out a couple of stores to see if I see anything- and I forgot about Etsy, I will have to check that out to!
