What's the lifespan of an eyeshadow?

Post by fluttershy » Fri May 10, 2013 6:27 pm

I really like teals (although with blue eyes, I dunno how flattering a combination it is...), and once Tingle, Twister, and Hero are gone from the collection, there really don't seem to be any comparable colors in the collection to replace them. Would it be wise to buy extras? Or will they "go bad"?

...Or are there going to be lovely greens and teals in the future to replace them? :D

i don't remember where i've read it, but i'm pretty sure it was somewhere on the sn website: "rocks don't go bad" ;)

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but powder eyeshadows should have the loooongest shelf life of all sn products. they don't contain anything organic (like silk powder), no oils that could go rancid, no liquids to induce mold.

my recommendation: stock up :D

Ohh, that does sound promising! It's like a tug-of-war: I love teals and greens, but I don't know if I can wear them without looking silly... then I don't want to buy stuff because by the time the Mystery Adventure Club box shows up, I'll have half the contents already! :P

There really isn't anything in them that can go off- as long as you handle them in a somewhat sanitary way they'll last. Twister, and Hero have a lot of interference and other colors built into them so they're pretty easy to wear.

And this week's GWP is a blush- someone always falls in love with GWP blushes so you should be able to trade it, or hoard it :)
