My order arrived today with the new flat top buki, Velvet and Plush shadows, and Grace lippie. And of course, I had to spend enough to try the new Vineyard shadow. It is absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, and Karen's right. The copper flecks really bring out the eyes. Velvet and Plush are beautiful too, but I think my new all-time favorite is Vineyard. Sorry, Karen, this can't be a limited edition! I'm going to play with my new Buki now and see how it stacks up against the regular one. More later!

I have to agree... Vineyard is a to die for color! I can see that I'm going to be wearing this one a LOT, so I hope it's not going to stay a LE.
Also picked up the new Nectar lippie. I HAD to because I love(d) Black Honey so much. Nectar is pretty much a dead-on dupe... except it feels much much better on my lips!
Please, please, Karen... make Vineyard and Nectar permanent additions to your lineup!!! They both rock!!!

Here are some quick pics. I see Fig Leaf as a plummier version of Birthday Suit, and Nectar as a peachier version of Birthday Suit. Vintage is to die for! It is the most pigmented of the Wand glosses, as far as I can tell. Champagne is golder than the other two wand glosses, and the sheer red of Rouge looks gorgeous. Vinyard is definitely a new favorite. I will post these on the swatch thread, too.

Does anyone have FOTDs they could post using the new e/s Vineyard? (Or even describe some other colors used with it)
I am having trouble deciding what to put with it. I don't think it will one of my better shades although JenW likes it and my complection, hair and eyes are along the same lines as hers (no freckles though).
Thanks In advance,
Star

There are any number of colors that will go with Vinyard. My first instinct (for one who usually does simple eye looks) is to do Vinyard on the lid and crease, and then do Vanilla as a brow highlight and use my Amethyst Cream Liner. I did pull a few shadows out. Velvet would make a great crease and liner, or any charcoal/gray tone to add depth. Other highlighters that go very well are Whisper, Nekkid, Sandstone, Bare, Riviera, Venus, Cream, Opal, and really anything that is lighter in tone. Karen said it looked lovely with a dark green liner (like Grassroots Green).

Yippee!! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I can't take complete credit for the color though- Jen sent me something that was somewhat similar, and I jazzed it up a little, because I wanted kind of a celebration color.
I wore it with Grassroots Green as a liner, and just did a simple wash and liner look. I tested it with a few of our other greens, and it worked very well.

Oooh! It does sound like it would look very pretty with a green liner!
Thank you, Karen

I wore it today with Sandy as a wash, Vinyard on the outer vee, and Mahogany as liner (really wanted Amethyst but I grabbed Mahogany and was in a hurry). I really like it. I will try it with green next time, though.

I did Vineyard on the eyelid, a little heavier vineyard in the crease, opal from above the crease to the brow with amethyst liner and black mascara. A bit daring for me, but what the heck! Several of my seventh graders asked me where I got the cool eye makeup! (I told them it was a secret for grown-up ladies.
