Hiya everyone

Need a bit of advice please. I'm new to SN skincare but have all of a sudden in the last couple of days reacted badly and my skin kinda feels like it's burnt. The skin on my cheekbones and around my eyes is really red and tight and stingy. I know the AHA can react with the superserum but I haven't been applying them at the same time of day so I'm not entirely sure what's going on. My cheeks feel pretty sore, but I was laughing so much yesterday that I was crying (like tears streaming down my face kind of laughing) and since then my cheeks have been red raw!!

Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to discontinue both immediatly. How often are you using the AHA? If it is more often than every other day, you will need to cut back. If you are new to our skincare, you should be using it about twice a week.

If it is not AHA overuse, I am guessing that Super Serum is not a product that you will be able to use...some with sensitive skin are unable. In this case, you might be able to use the AHA again once your skin has calmed down.

For strong products like these, you should consider testing one for a few weeks and then adding in another if there are no reactions. That way, you know immediately what the problem product is. I recommend trying new products one at a time from here on out.

I had one other possibility....since it is your cheeks and that area tends to burn first.... Are you using sunscreen? AHA makes the skin much more photosensitive....meaning you will burn faster.
