Limited shadow samples?

I'm totally bummed for missing out on the eye shadow sample run 
I do understand the reasons behind not wanting to do shadow sample (or lippies, for that reason), but how about making them into an incentive? Similar to the way you did the summer Sandy line (or something): spend a certain amount to qualify... I loved getting that sample Opal shadow with my last purchase, without even asking for it, and now I'm ordering it full size
So, what if you tiered the number of shadow samples that can be picked based on the amount we spend? Dunno, spend $30 and pick up to 5 samples for 50 cents each! I hate returning stuff, and thus a bit shy to buy them.
