foundation recipes and ratios

Post by maria-m » Sun Dec 18, 2011 4:37 pm

Hi Jen!

While waiting for my sample kit to arrive, I'm curious to know what my recipe would be so I can start mixing my foundation the second my package arrives! I've never really known what undertone I have so I'm pretty excited to find out. I am scandinavian if that helps you. I'm hoping these photos will help you out. :)

Here is a paler version of me, kind of what I look like right now. Completely bare face

I think you will be in Ebony or since you are pretty fair, Buttery Gold.

Ebony 1 scoop color to about 9 white.
Buttery Gold 1 scoop color to about 11 white.

Actually as fair as you are (in looking at the bottom pic...) you probably want to start with the Buttery Gold. I think the Ebony will look a little flat.

Thank you very much, I will try that out! Sorry about not posting in the main foundation recipe thread, wasn't sure how to do it so I accidently started a new topic.. :)
