I know frosty lippies are not everyone's thing. So I was thinking, it would be totally awesome to see a sheer frosty white lippie that can be layered over others to make them frosty, this way if anyone wanted to make their lippies frosty looking they would be able to do that.
The most similar thing is Sparkle, but that adds sparkles more than frost. The lippie I am wishing for would be very fine shimmer, more like a pearl, so it adds a frosty finish.
I would absolutely love for it to be either in the ALG or buttercream formula, since I love those, but really any form is fine with me, just not liquid gloss, as those don't last nearly as long as solid glosses do on me.

Have you tried Icing?
http://host.silknaturals.com/creb/icing ... -1245.html it caused a riot when it debuted as a GWP, it was so popular. The circular picture of it isn't a good representation of how it looks in real life. It applies sheer and has the most wonderful tiny colourful sparkles. It's a must own in it's own right but it's also very versatile if you like to layer.

Thank you. I have not tried it, I didn't think to because it looks pink in the pic, but I will have to check it out.
I do still wish for a white frosty one though, without sparkles and in solid form

Here's a pic of what I mean by the frosty lippie.
I tried to make it myself by melting down a clear ALG and adding some pearly white mica(Velvet White), but of course it would be much nice if SN made it, as my version involves wasting a lot of product because it hardens as I try to pour it back into the tube.

Top: Frosty
Middle: Frosty+Mango
Bottom: Mango

The above pic is to show how layering it would effect other colors.

That's an excellent idea, Oxana! I just got one of Burts Bees frosty lip shimmers to tone down certain shades as well.

I think this is such a great idea! I have tried to do this with Sparkle, but when it switched from being a Kisser Slicker to a Vegan, it got a little lighter, and doesn't "frost" as well as it used to. A truly white frost like Oxana suggests would be FAN-TAS-TIC !!!

How about Avalanche as a froster? Has anyone tried that?
I use some of the cream blushes on my lips, and they work fine. I don't care much for their shimmer, but it may be what you gals are looking for?

That's a good idea! I also just got Kinetic and it works well at lightening darker colors as well

I don't personally care for frost, but hope it helps to give you an idea how it would look like. Avalanche is easy to work with, it blends nicely as top layer, not chunky.
