Hi Jen, I having been testing my color foundation in natural and indoor lighting and it takes some time to figure out. I have a pretty close match (1 olive;1/4 buttery gold; 14 med. ivory). It looks good in flourescent lighting at work. However, it natural lighting it is a touch to brown/pink-next my chest which is neautral with a little yellow. (I am neutral fair light color with some slight yellow undertones-if my face gets irritated will get a bit pink on my cheeks) I was going to try to leave out the buttery gold and try the yellow booster instead-do you think that is a good idea? I am trying to find my husbands camera for to post a pic...

It is always worth a try.... The nice thing about using Yellow Booster instead of Buttery Gold is that you only get yellow, and not more brown.

Hi Lalana, I use the yellow booster in my mix along with the buttery gold. I am very fair, leaning towards yellow, and putting the yellow in my mix helps sort of cancel out some reddish glows(?!) on my chin and cheeks. As JenW said, it sure can't hurt! I love it.

I also use some yellow booster to tint my Sheer Zinc Powder that I use as my primer.....not a lot, just enough to help neutralize the red.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help ladies! I placed an order for the yellow booster today-my second order this week  I kind of jumped the gun a little-as I was so excited about being able to wear this makeup!
Xarata, I had the same problem- and your coloring looks like a close match to mine.
Ladycattat- that's a great idea to add yellow booster to the zinc for the redness-I'm definitly going to try that out!
