I've been lurking for a long time, but this time of year always brings me out of hiding. If you are an American citizen or enjoy the benefits of living in America, please take a moment tomorrow (or any day, for that matter) to thank a veteran for protecting the freedoms we take for granted. While you're at it, thank a military/veteran's spouse or child. They willingly make great sacrifices, with pride, dignity and grace. God bless our troops, their loved ones left at home, and those who passed before.
