Silk Naturals

As I placed my order for the Fall newness it occured to me that I need to make sure to use all the lovely colors I order. I am on a mission to try to use all the colors in my collection which has grown beyond what I ever thought possible thanks to Karen. So with that in mind maybe we could ressurect the FOTD. I love perusing the old thread there are so many great ideas.

Today I wore:

Eyes - Jeune (lid), Envoy (highlight)
Blush - Folly
Lips - Razzle Dazzle + Creampuff
Glow - Vegan Illuminating Powder

Today's look was:

Eyes: Calypso (lid), Lunar (crease), & Envoy (highlight)
Blush: Charming
Lips: Wistaria + Dancing Shoes
Glow: Splendid

I really liked the lippie combo. I grabbed Wistaria by mistake and it was a bit too purple. Putting Dancing Shoes over it made it shimmery/glossy and turned it more pink.

Sadly, most of my pics don't turn out right.

Today was a "warmer" day for me. Usually I wear cooler colors.

Eyes: Saddle Up (lid), Restless (Highlight)
Blush: Lychee
Lips: Sweetheart

Well today was green day and I had the time to use a liner .

Eyes: Roam (lid), Grassroots Green (crease), Mahalo (highlight), Molton (liner)
Blush: Stardust
Lips: Heirloom + Dancing Shoes
Glow: Liberty

Apparently I am loving Dancing Shoes at the moment. When I first got it I dismissed it as too warm, but it really is a great versitile color. When it is layered over another color it can perk up a color that is a bit flat or tone a color that is a bit too much. Plus gotta love its glossiness and tingliness.

Today I wore my Harry Potter shadows.

Eyes: Teacher's Pet (lid), Hero (crease), Envoy (highlight), Molton (liner)
Blush: Guava
Lips: Lola

I was going to line with Dark Arts, but shockingly I don't have it. I got my order with the Fall Collection so I am already mentally trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow to go with my new shadows.

I thought my makeup turned out really well this morning, but the only camera I have is my phone, and usually it doesn't pick up colors well.
But I was sitting in the front seat of my car, and the light was good, so I tried. For some bizarre reason I think the sun hit my visor weird, so half my face and eye turned out green, I mean really green. Like Green Lantern glowing type green. But the other colors did show up well, so, for your viewing pleasure:

Face: zinc powder, then my foundation blend.
Eyes: Jumpstart foiled from lashes to crease, then Jump to blend out. I used Bone to highlight the entire eyelid.
Asphalt(gumball gel liner) to line both top and bottom lashes.
Blush: Tiger Lily eyeshadow
Lips: 2 coats Roxie lipstain, topped with Dancing Shoes ALG

Love the green eye! Too funny! Seriously though love the look. Isn't Dancing Shoes awesome. I use it way more than Glacier.
