Foundation match - follow up

Hi,

I tried to mix my shade following your suggestion (ebony) and it's way off. I tried to mix buttery gold (1 scoop ebony + 1 scoop buttery gold), but the damage is done and I just wasted 15 scoops of white. I now barely have enough white to try again and a foundation sample which is dark and very orange on me.

Suggestions?

Thank you

Oh no, I'm so sorry, I didn't realise I posted this as a new topic. How can I delete this?

Thanks

It is fine where it is.

I think you need more white and Yellow Booster. The Buttery Gold will be too brown, even if you get enough white. I did mention the pop of yellow in my initial suggestions, which will be fixed by adding a few scoops pf Yellow Booster.

Sometimes the fair gals need more white than what comes in the kit.

Oh, I thought you meant I'd need a bit of buttery gold to balance it out... I would have to mix ebony and yellow booster? This is more complicated than I thought.

Thanks

It is not really that complicated. I am guessing you just need a few scoops of Yellow Booster added to your Ebony and white blend.
