I am addicted to the ALG lippies! I absolutely love the minty freshness and the glossy softness. I love them 100% over any of the other SN gloss or lipstick formulas.
I am wondering if a few of the Kisser Slickers (especially the really sheer ones with gold shimmer)could be re-created in the ALG formula?
I was speaking specifically of Swank and Gold Blush, but maybe some of you guys might have your favorites.
I would also love an ALG the color of Iced Mocha with....wait for it....multicolored shimmer.

I also think the ALGs might lend themselves to some really cool colorshifting effects.....coral with a shift to pale green, raspberry to a pale icy blue...

Anyway, I think the ALGs have unlimited potential, and are definitely not a one-trick pony.

I'd like to see a nude pink...a la Centerfold and definitely some layering ones/color-shifters!

I LOVE the ALG formula, too! I mean, it's not that I wasn't in love with the other formulas. They were awesome! But after trying out the new ALG formula, my lips never felt fuller and as luscious and plumper! Oooooh I love it I love it I love it I LOVE IT!

Maybe Darling and Bitten in ALG? Bitten's my new favy HG. It's the current permanent residence of my makeup pouch!

I just saw this about re-doing Swank in the ALG formula!!!!! (I had made a whole new topic on it yesterday!LOL!!!) I'd also love to see Gleaming added in the ALG formula!!!

Awesome idea! I can't live without the new ALG formula, that's all I reach for now, because it is just that amazing. I would also love a coral(or a pink) with green iridescence.
I feel that because the ALG formula goes on thicker it looks more pigmented, and I agree that I think the ALG formula would be a great formula for some color shift lippies.
Some colors I would love to see in the ALG formula are Gold Blush and XXX.
And Excite is the ALG version of Gleaming, I have both and they are pretty much identical.

I am sure that Karen will address this, but I just wanted to add something since this was my original post.
I read something that karen wrote not too long ago about reformulating things. It's not just adding different ingredients and the same pigments. There is a method to her madness(LOL)

I know a lot of us have fallen IN LOVE with the ALG formula, and would love it in colors we already know and love, but it just not might be possible to re-duplicate the EXACT color if this makes sense.
I just don't want to see a lot of us get all excited about the possiblity, and then have it just not happen.
I know that Karen asks for wish lists, but not everything is feasible.

I could totally see how just using the same pigments and mixing them into clear ALG base in the same proportion will have a different result than the Kisser Slicker base. After all the ALGs feel much different on the lips and go on thicker, so the color will be less sheer(which I would not mind).
I don't want it to get too crazy for SN having all these colors and now in various formulas as well. They already have the most lippie colors of anyone I know.
I figured seeing which Kisser Slickers we love and want to see as ALGs will give Karen more ideas about the types of ALGs we want to see in general, and maybe she will make similar colors to those, rather than duping the Kisser Slickers and making an ALG exactly that color.
But really I would just love to see more ALGs because I love them, and find myself hoarding all the colors

Oxana, I totally agree! If it were up to me, I wouldn't use anything else, ever, but the ALGs. They are the only lippie formulation from SN that I am able to use successfully. It seems like the the other forms tend to change color on my lips(TOO PINK....and I hate pink!) or just don't work.

I absolutely get your point, and I am glad you said it.....I just felt sorta guilty since I instigated this post, and didn't want anybody thinking that this *might* be in the works.

I also get that there are quite a few girls that can't use the ALG formula at all, or wish it were not minty(NOT ME). Thankfully Karen has something for everybody!
