Lip Color for Yellow/Olive/Warm Skin

Yo ;)

I am searching for a lip color that is in the same lightness/darkness scale as my skin color (or perhaps 0.5 shade darker) - however, with just a tinge of a pinkish hue

I compiled the below picture to explain (Click to Enlarge):
Image

I am attempting to emulate the skin/lip color combination on the top right
-on a yellow/olive skin tone that is similar to the image on the top left

Note how the lip color on the image on the top right is the same lightness as the skin - but only slightly pinker?

My skin tone is similar to the big skin image below the top two. It is a medium olive-yellow...

Any suggestions?

Many of our lip products are not opaque. I would also need to have some idea of your lip color.

I think you'd like Mirage.

and maybe negligee:

XXX also combines well with other colors (like peaches) for a milky pink/peach/nude look.

For a straight nude (with no pink) i like to dip a gloss or lipbase in foundation.

*Also, if you type "nude pink" into the SN website search bar, you'll get a lot of great results. St. Tropez is a fan favorite.

Wow - the replies were quick

@ JenW: Thank for informing me about the opaqueness of the lip colors. My natural lip color is similar to the Negligee color Xarata posted

@ Xarata: I appreciate the suggestions : ) I think Mirage is far too nude, and negligee far too pink. But perhaps if I combined the two?

As for the peachy/nude look - are you referring to something like the top image?:

I am cautious of the foundation trick as I am weary of its: 1. Lasting power 2. Clumping in the lips after a period of time. Have you experienced any of this?

The solid ones that come to mind for me are Mirage or Centerfold. Centerfold might be too pink, though. And yes, St. Tropez, a liquid gloss, would probably work.

Of those mentioned, Negligee and XXX are the only ones on the opaque side. You really can't know how the others will look on you until you try them because the swatch is on white paper, and the glosses tend to be sheer. Mirage will probably mute the color you have in your lips naturally.

Even in the summer, my skin isn't as dark as yours, but here are some swatches of some of the suggested colors on my skin/lips:

These are most of the lipswatches I've done. http://sapphiresandstilettos.blogspot.c ... 20Naturals Looking at them, I think you might like menage actually...

Your lips are most likely darker than mine, and any shade will probably look different on you than it does on me, but i do have decidedly warm yellow/olive skin to go off of.
