need recommendations for routine/product layering

trying this again...

I need some recommendations for which products to layer when, also some product suggestions.
I currently have the oatmeal serum, facelift serum and holy crow.

AM: I currently rinse with water, apply foundation, and go. (foundation is either bb cream or sunscreen mixed with mmu) I'd like to layer a serum but not sure which will work best here.

PM: remove makeup with nonsoap/nondetergent (cold cream or oil or water) Apply either AHA cream or Retinol cream. can I layer a serum with either of those products? Which goes on first, and is there a waiting period?

I'd love some suggestions if there's a better serum out there for me: I break out from detergents and soaps, otherwise my skin is mostly clear other than hormonal breakouts. I'm getting fine lines on my forehead and around eyes I'd like to smooth out. I am allergic to salicylic acid. My forehead sometimes gets oily, and my skin often gets red.

Serums are usually layered after cleansing and before moisturizing. That is where I would try them for both am and pm, even though you don't use traditional cleansers. I am not sure about the AHA cream and Retinol. I can't really see anything that would react, but I would be more concerned about the serums making the AHA Cream and Retinol less effective.

I would start with the Oatmeal Serumas it is the most simple as far as ingredients go, and see how that goes for a week or so. Then you can layer the Facelift before the Oatmeal. The only products that really need to sit on the skin are the exfoliating toners. All else can be layered as soon as you are comfortable. The Holy Crow is a good hydrator for the eyes, but the anti-wrinkle properties are not really cumulative....it is kind of like a plumper for wrinkles around the eyes. It still does a good job of hydrating the skin in that area.

I think the products you have chosen are a good place for you to start.

Is the Facelift best for under makeup/sunscreen? I'd like to reverse/prevent sun damage as well as tackle my fine lines. I was also looking at the Super Serum and the Vitamin C one and was wondering if one might be better...

Yes, under makeup and sunscreen.

The Super Serum will react wth your AHA Cream. I do not recommend it for you. The Facelift is really one step better in antiageing ingredients than the Vitamin C Peptide. It might be good if for some reason the Facelift does not do well with your skin.

One more question, then I promise I'll stop-

is the Super Serum a " never use it if you ever use AHA's", or "don't use it on the days you use AHA's" kind of thing? Just wondering since I only use the AHA's once or twice a week

I was not sure how often you used the AHA Cream.....as long as the Super Serum and AHA products are not used in the same application, you should be fine. I recommend that those people that use an AHA at night (how ever many times a week) use the Super Serum in the morning. It is too easy to forget if you don't make the distinction for time of day(and yes, I have done it myself on a few occasions!)

So, Super Serum vs Facelift?

I just got my samples and I can't decide which is the best for everyday usage.

I did feel a bit sensitive after using the Super Serum, but that might just be hormonal. (switched to Oatmeal serum for a few days).

If you can handle the Super Serum, it is probably better. Or you could use one in the daytime, and one at night.
