I'm 20-ish with combination finicky skin. Advices?

I'm 23 and my skin has been misbehaving really bad. I used to have crystal clear skin, although oily, with minimum effort but ever since I stopped using chemical-ladden products and started working, you know with all the stress and pressures and crazy overtimes and airconditioned room, I started getting dry patches, zits, and raised and unever skin texture which I have never even seen before, or known that a skin can look this ugly. Although somehow I miraculously lost all those rough whiteheads on and around my nose and below lips area.

Can anyone please help me with the perfect combination of SN products for my problem? I'd also want to tackle and prevent whatever problem there is like saggy skin or wrinkles or uneven texture, etc. Even if I have to alternate or layer serums is fine by me. Oh and I also have these baggy under-eyes that are almost impossible to fix or hide I started to consider whether a minor surgery will be worth it.

Thanks!

My advice is to start simple. My skin is happiest when I don't get complicated on the skincare. Also, by starting with a cleanser and then adding in product one at a time, you'll know which product is the culprit if you have a bad reaction to one.

Also, skin teas tend to work really well for me. Not all of them taste so great (the yogi one is okay but not great), but they're basically all herbal teas that target skin, hydration, inflammation, and bacteria. You might give one a try.

My rec:

start exfoliating once a week, switch to a gentle cleanser, and find a moisturizer that your skin likes. Super Serum does amazing things for your skin too, but several of us have a had great experiences with it for awhile and then one day ended up with an uncharacteristic tomato-red face reaction so the rec is proceed with caution.

eta: I'm 24, and have found what works for me, but I do get hormonal breakouts. I had perfect skin in highschool and didn't start having issues until college when i stopped eating properly and also went on birth control. I never experienced any weight gain/issues but my skin did have problems for awhile

I sure had change my cleanser into something a lot more gentle and mask and exfoliate at least once a week. What about SN toner, serum, and moisturizer? Which one do you think might help? I'm drawn to Super Serum but then I can't try the AHA/BHA toner. Or Facelift or Vit C is just as good? Although if I'm to get any of them I might also get the hydrating serum. What about the microdermabrasion cream/gel?

You probably should wait on the Facelift Serum and AHA Toner until you are in your 30s.

For Super Serum, you could use it in the morning, and use the BHA Toner at night.

For moisturizers, I recommend looking at Hemp, Jojoba, and maybe the Argan Goji Berry.

Cleanse: KISS Cleanser AM and PM
Tone: BHA? at night...start every three days and work up to two
Treat: Super Serum in the morning
Hydrate: Green Tea & Aloe morning and night
Moisturize...see above

Mask: Green Goddess once or twice a week
Exfoliate: Microdermabrasion Gel in the morning on a day that you did not use BHA the night before...about twice a week. Cut back on the frequency of BHA and exfolitating if your skin starts to feel sensitive.

I think I'll skip Argan & Goji Berry moisturizers since my skin is pretty sensitive to Vitamin E. I've loaded up my cart with those products JenW mentioned and will try to use it one at a time, just like Xarata said so I can understand which one my skin agrees with and which one doesn't.

I also put in Firming Moisturizer (will the Renovage active be too rich for my skin?) and Vitamin C serum.

I think you are too young for Renovage. The Vitamin C might be all right.

I don't think it is a good idea to be looking at anything that is seriously anti-aging in your early twenties....maybe late twenties...definitely start looking at them in your early thirties.

I think you will find that proper hydration and simple, manual exfoliation will go a very long way. Maybe try the Pore Refining Toner, too.... And drink lots of water!

Yeah I guess you're right after all JenW. I think I'll pass it up to my mom. She might like it and jump into the SN bandwagon.

Thanks JenW and Xarata! Your replies are helpful and highly appreciate it. I tried to make the title easier for girls to search and relate to easier. ;)
