Dye Free?

Post by Caitie » Fri Mar 25, 2011 5:59 pm

Hi :)

I've been eagerly planning my first SN order for the last couple weeks and finally had some extra money to place it with, but I had a question - I prefer not to use anything with dye and I've noticed a few lippies where the ingredients don't match the Dye Free answer. For example - Infatuation doesn't have any dye listed in the ingredients, but under Dye Free? it says no.

So I guess what I was wondering is which one it is better to go by in cases like this, the ingredients list, or the yes/no to Dye Free? And while I'm at it, does infatuation contain any dye?

Thanks a lot!

I think infatuation is listed as a no because of the carmine.

Carmine is not a FD&C dye. It is a natural pigment.

I would go more based on the ingredients on the product page. We just added the sort feature in the last month or so, and I am guessing we have a few mistakes on data entry. After confirming with Karen, I will fix it.

I asked Karen, and it does have a little bit of dye in it. I have edited the ingredients to reflect that. I am sorry if it caused any inconvenience.

Oh, glad I checked then :) Not a problem, I ended up ordering a different KS with my order anyways, just to be sure!
