Lippie question

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section

I was wondering what formula of lippie has the most shine to is. I normally wear clear lip balm but want to add more shine to my lips. I love all the colors of lippes here but am scared to jump in both feet, so if anyone has suggestions on colors I would appreciate that too. In the picture I attached are my lips with just lip balm on (sorry about the bad pic)

TIA,

Jeni

The highest shine lippies are the liquid wands and the kisser slickers. You said shiniest, but I don't know how you feel about shimmer? You look warm but pale to me.

Liquid are often a preference thing, and for me don't always last as long as other lippies in general, but they are super pigmented. If you're trying to ease in mildly, I would start with some of the more subtle shades: champagne, modern poet, St Tropez, and Summer Fling which are pretty universally flattering.

The Kisser Slickers can vary in finish a bit, but since color is new to you, some subtle but pretty shades are gold blush, peace, and precious

I think you would like the sheer kisser slickers w/o shimmer:
Berry Nice, Bitten, Damsel, Nectar, Peachy Keen, Seedy, Sweet Nothing.

I second Xarata's suggestion of Precious - it's very understated and flattering.

Also, you may like Ginny liquid lipgloss, considering your skin tone. I find Ginny to be very sheer, giving just a touch of natural looking colour, and a glassy high-shine. I use Ginny when I want my lips to look like their natural colour with a tiny oomph, and a lot of shine. My lips are only very slightly more pigmented than yours so I think it's worth a try. The site says it is shimmery, but the shimmer must be superfine because it just looks like glass on me.

I was just going to post asking about the shimmer in Ginny, glad I read this post!! How would you compare the shimmer of Ginny to Frolic. I don't mind shimmer when I have gloss on my lips, but I hate when the gloss wears off and you endup w/ random chunks of shimmer on your lips.

The shimmer in Ginny is different to Frolic, perhaps a little finer but I also find that silver shimmer is more reflective and less noticable than copper/gold/coloured shimmer. I never have the random shimmer issue with Ginny. I have before with Frolic, but I found using a plain moisturising balm underneath solved that problem.
