Christmas in Feb! (A SN Haul Story! :D)

Wowzers it seems like today I've been on a bit of a posting rampage! But yeah, I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets super excited about a SN package at the door! And there's no one home so I have no one to rave to...
. This was my biggest order ever, but I justify it with the fact that I live in Australia and shipping can be expensive, it's just more economical to to order more less frequently. I'm working on the less frequently part, because I should be saving for a new laptop and uni textbooks!
This was one of those orders where practically everything (except maybe 2.5 things) was amazingly perfect for me! Here's what I got (and sorry it's so long! I like to talk
):

The top row are all samples. I think the TS bronzer was too cool a brown when I swatched it but I've yet to try it on my face. BB bronzer was lovely! Too light for a contour or proper bronzer but beautiful as an all-over type colour, it almost disappeared into my skin but it did give me a very nice, subtle what has she been up to kind of warm buzz - love!
XL SIAJ makes a great highlighter for my tear duct area (epecially for those no makeup days, which for me are really 'makeup that doesn't look like makeup days' AKA 'maybe she's born with it' days
), I got the light peach for my actual under eye area, but it's great for my blemishes too, very much multi purpose.
Nuance and Palace I swatched.. I need to get a fiber optic brush before I can try them on my face. I think Nuance will be a winner, even though I've never worn anything so brown - it has an earthiness that's very intriguing to me. Palace may be too dark unless I can apply very. very scantily. I was actually looking for something close to EDM's Summer Stroll blush (not to brand-bag but I totally went off EDM after I tried a few SN products - cause they are, ya know.. amazing!).
Ultimate Luxury Powder..! I can't wait to get this full size and use it as a night treatment and primer for special occaisons (so long as it's not too light because I don't use foundation). It was very soothing and calming to my chemical burn type reaction to the Rose Water Spritz (oh well, that's what samples are for!)
Bronze Beauty blush was an unexpected winner! It's so gorgeous! It looks great paired with my bronzer, gives a very beachy/festival kind of feel. It's so pretty!
Afterglow was the real winner for me.. I didn't think I needed it, thought it would be too similar to Satisfied blush, but the whole 'universally flattering' thing got me. Well, I think I'm really going to have to put this on my favourites list. It's really very unique and stunning, it's like the perfect balance of everything - well done Karen on formulating it! Was definitely worth the effort! I think it's basically trying with Lovelace, which I would eat for breakfast if I could.
The eyeshadows were: Chestnut - the perfect deep copper brown I've been searching for; Sprite - made my eyes absolutely pop out of their sockets with blueness; Wheat Penny - opened the jar and thought.. oh, not for me. Swatched it and was amazed; my GWP Toujours is so pretty and surprisingly flattering. The only colour that I was disappointed with was Pop. I was really looking forward to it but it turned this strange peri-winkle blue on my skin and made my face look really drawn and lifeless. I have this problem with most purples but I thought it would work because of the gold shimmer, and the swatch on the site looked quite warm. I haven't tried it foiled yet so I'll swatch it that way and if it's not good for me it will be up for swap if anyone is interested.
For lippies I got Mango (PERFECT - my lips are very pigmented and kind of a warm plummy colour, odd, but this on me is the perfect peach. I think the colour of my lips gives it a pink tint so it de-orangifies it.) Foreplay - new HG, can't believe I passed it up for so long. Doesn't lighten my lips too much to make me look deadened, the colour is amazing, especially with the Afterglow blush. Ginny (accidently cut her out of the pic)- this one is of the same level of light/dark as my lips but alters the tone, makes them nice and warm and a pinky gingery peach. Very nice! Delacoeur - Nope. I'm looking for a lipgloss that turns out a nice warmish bubble-gumesque pink but this turned my lips a scary shade of lavander! I might experiment with it a bit, mix it or something, but on it's own it's much, much too cool for me.
I also bought the bha and aha toners. I have some acne scars I'm hoping the aha will help with, also in place of a traditional exfoliator. The bha is for post-waxing. The aha did leak though, only about a teaspoon or so was lost but the RW spritz was in the same package. I'm curious if my chemical burn like reaction was maybe because of that? I did wipe the nozzle of the spray and had no adverse reaction when I sprayed it on my arm, but maybe I didn't wipe well enough? I don't have sensitive skin so I hope this kind of intense firey burn and redness isn't what will happen when I start using the aha..!
