Recommend skincare for me?

I have combination-sensitive skin and I'm usually very wary to add new things to my routine. I'm currently using an off brand cream cleanser and moisturiser. But I'm dealing with a few persistent whiteheads and oil bumps on my face, as well as some breakouts (though they're very mild).
I was wondering if the BHA toner would help. Do you girls use it just as an after waxing/shaving treatment or can it be used twice a day like a regular toner?
Any other suggestions on a skincare regime would also help. Should I add a serum along the way?
Thanks!

BHA Toner is a great idea. I would start at about three times a week and try to build up to once a day using it like a regular toner. I also recommend using it at night because it is an exfoliator and does make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Also, it is good to have some kind of sunscreen in your plan.
For a serum, Green Tea & Aloe is a great one for starters. Use it after cleansing and toning, but before moisturizer.

Okay so i'll definitely get a sample. I'm actually sensitive to a lot of sunscreens, so I'm still searching for one...

but i'll get a sample of the serum as well

I hear you on the suncreen sensitivity. I look for something with physical sunblocks rather than chemical ones. Mineral makeup does offer some amount of sunscreen as our Sheer Zinc Finishing Powder does, too. BUT I still recommend finding something that is tested for SPF that your skin will tolerate.

Zinc powder does that? Wow

yeah, I test sunscreens whenever my skin is in good shape, I am yet to find 'THE ONE'!

It does, but please don't rely on it is your sole source of sunblock! We don't put a number on it because it is not tested, so assume it is very low in comparison to commercial products.

I'd recommend trying maybe a variety of serum samples. I found the one the Vitamin C and Peptide serum worked best for me in controlling oilies. I moved to a drier climate and my face was oil galore. This serum has made my face feel normal again! No more oilyness. It might be worth a try?

kirti I was going to just pm you this, but I thought it may benefit other people so I'll post it. Since SN doesn't yet sell anything with tested SPF, I wanted to recommend my HG facial moisturizer which I found after trying a lot that didn't work for me. It's Kimberly Sayer ultra light facial moisturizer SPF 25. It. Is. Awesome. It isnt thick, doesn't smell bad, doesn't break me out, and has no chemical sunscreens. The bottle is going to last me at least 10 months because you only use very little so it is actually a good deal. It is for oily/combo skin but still works great for my normal/dry face. If you are ok with SPF 25 I really highly recommend it.
