Bright eyeshadow help?

I've always been a browns and neutrals kinda girl, but I got sent charmed as a GWP and fell in LOVE! :D It's such a nice bright colour that can be used as an all over wash/teamed with darker greens, browns, golds... :D

Now I'm looking for other colours that I can try - nothing too over the top, but a change from what I nrmally wear. I'm attaching a picture below - can any of you recommend some brights for me? I've got 5th ave., hero, poly and twister in my cart. How will these look on my medium-dark skintone?

Ooh, also, will teacher's pet be too cool toned on me? I love dark arts and I'm dying to use the two together :)

Hi Kirti!

I am warm (I'm fair-medium 6-8w:1bg:1yellow) and I have Teacher's Pet and it is very nice. It is great with Dark Arts))

Did you eye Sizzle? I am in love with it - it is bright, but wearable. I was hesitating between this and Twister and got an advice to try Sizzle as it is warmer - and I'm happy I did.

I have 5th Avenue - it is also great, even if it is too much for the whole lid it is great for the inner half. It is really bright.

Thanks Diemarchen - I'm off to check sizzle out! :D I may not get 5th ave. yet if it's THAT bright - I'm still exploring :P

5th ave might be a bit too bright for you at this point, but I bet you would like twister. poly is a great color...I actually don't think I have ever used it as a lid color, but i use it a lot as a liner with neutrals and it rocks. have you tried any purples? vineyard, bewitched, intergalactic, plush, rollick, romp...love all of those.

Hi again :-)

I have made some swatches, hope they help. All my teal colors

From left to right: York (not that teal, but goes great with them) 5th Avenue, Sizzle, Hero, Regent (good for the crease)

Hi Die Marchen,

THANK YOU! I'm loving sizzle, I bet it would go great with other gold based colours :D Hero seems a little less bright than 5th ave.... is it really like that? And ooh, regent!!! A grey with hints of teal - I'm all over it :D
