Hello there. I currently use one spoonful of Warm Gold to 4 spoonfuls of med. coverage ivory. I have not yet tried the perfecting powder and was thinking of trying it but not sure what shade to go with! Any suggestions??

Love Lure might still be a little dark. I would go with Tempt Tryst or Date Bait.

Is the sheer and gorgeous white powder something different? be too light? should I start with that?

Thanks!

It is pretty sheer, so I don't think it would look whitish on someone with your ratio. It is a good place to start as long as your skintone is not too deep (then Love Lure is a better choice).

It got me questioned, has anyone tried mixing white perfecting powder with tinted one. I have both white and Tempt Tryst, both look good on me (I'm buttery gold with 11 ivory with a little yellow booster) as long as I do sheer when I use mineral foundation under it. But most of the time, on daily I just use zinc and perfecting powder after sunscreen. And for this, I like Tempt tryst better, the white one didn't give me the coverage that I'm looking for. Still, I need to find a way to use up the white perfecting powder since I still have a lot :)

You can definitely mix them...... ;) I know of some that mix the white one and the tan (Love Lure) to get a good match.

I mix Tempt Tyrst with the original Perfecting powder. I apply finishing powder quite heavy (as I am oily) and I can have slightly too much colour if using just TT. I am quite pale. The original Perfecting powder is great to mix with anything..glows, etc. that might be too intense on their own.

I mix tonnes of stuff up... white perfecting powder + date bait + zinc powder + silica + glow (sometimes)... its rather fun to mix stuff up to get exactly what you want from your finishing powder. Have fun.
