Tawny all over

I obviously have too much time on my hands. I was looking at the eyeshadows in the *one color wash* section, and I wondered.....could you take the whole one color thing and do your whole face with it? So I did. I tried my best to take pics, but my camera is a little old, and it just does not capture colors the way I want it to, so I will describe it for you.
I used *Tawny* as my one color.
I primed my face with the sheer Zinc Powder. I applied my foundation mix. I put on my mascara(Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluminous) and let it dry.
I primed my entire eyelid with an off-brand shimmery cream highlighter.
Then I foiled *Tawny* from lashline to crease, and blended well
I used Avon black glimmerstick to line outer 3/4 of eye,
I used my blusher brush to apply Tawny, much like a glow to my cheeks, temples, under my chin, across my forehead...
Finally, I applied an off brand nude gloss, and then with a lipbrush mixed in some Tawny on top.
This look was surprisingly wearable. Even though the color is very shimmery, I didn't feel disco-ballish. I do feel, though, that this would have been more interesting looking on a gal with a darker complexion. I'm very fair, so I don't think I did it justice.
I am thinking of trying other colors just for fun.......for some reason, Quiver comes to mind.

Laurie
