I am always on the hunt for the "perfect" lipgloss. I really like fashionista, soft, bitten, and figment. I am looking for a moisturizing red lipgloss as well as a plummy toned gloss. Any suggestions?

Have you tried Raisin? I don't have it, but I got a sample in a swap a while back and it is beautiful! Like a burgundy plum color... It's not technically a gloss, but you could apply it lightly over a lip balm or gloss. Or, you could wear it full strength, then as it wears off, top with gloss since it's very pigmented and leaves a pretty stain... Another plum I love is Black Dahlia! Cassis is a nice plum too, looks pretty dark on, especially if you are fair, but you could apply it lighter for a more sheer look. It's in the butter cream formula which is thicker than the sheer kisser slickers.
Bitten is the red I'd recommend, but you have that already. Vintage and Cherry Crush are also very pretty reds and they are in the gloss formula, I own Vintage and really like it, though it's probably a bit too cool for me. There are some big Crimson fans on the forum, if you are neutral to cool it might be a good choice as well, but if you have problems with lippies turning, be aware it could go pink, it does on me. HTH!

Thanks for your suggestions. I also thought I might try Hot Blooded. I am pretty fair. Do you think Black Dahlia and Raisin might be too dark? What would be the next step down in color from those two?

Though neither technically red nor plum, I would absolutely recommend Nectar as the *pefect* fall lippie. I am very fair, and though I haven't gotten around to writing a review yet, this lippie is just GORGEOUS on. It's a little deeper than my own lips, with no shimmer, but whenever I wear it, whether I am doing full face, or just dashing to the 7-11, I feel elegant and pulled together. I love that it doesn't *pull pink* on me....it stays true to color. It is sheerer than Hot Blooded, and a teensy bit less brown, although it has a bit of brown in it just to warm it up.
HTH,
Laurie

To me Black Dahlia is a bit more wearable than Raisin, and several fair girls on the forum have it and love it! I'm pretty fair myself and love Black Dahlia.
A step down from Black Dahlia would be Sweet Nothing IMO. I can't believe I forgot to mention it before, I really, really love it! It's a sheer, non shimmer, glossy mauve plum, very wearable for fair skin!
As for Hot Blooded, it isn't my favorite, but it's more wearable for me than most SN reds! Oh, and Laurie is so right, Nectar is lovely!

Laurie is right Nector is my first choice, I also love Jaybird, which isn't really red or brown, but works well for me alot of the time. It or Nector are my how to look pulled together fast lippies.

What about fig leaf? That's a really pretty plum. I am quite fair, and I can wear Black Dahlia (although it is pretty dramatic) but raisin is just too dark for me. The colour is gorgeous, it just looks kind of gothic.

2nd what Lily said - Figleaf is a gorgeous plum color for fall. I'm very fair (with yellow undertones) and it works for me - really well! In fact, apart from Aria, it is the only plummy / pink color that I can wear. And i've tried a lot! For red / browns can't go past Nector and Jaybird as others have said - they are both in my top 5.
