I'm not a lip gloss addict like a lot of ladies here, my biggest downfall is eyeshadow. Eyeshadow is mineral crack to me and I already have my hg lip balm that I stay true to. But I would like a few versatile lip colors to round my collection out, wear-anywhere shadows, fun colors, etc. I already have Desire and I LOVE it, not nearly as scary as it looks at all. Right now, I'm stuck between Heirloom Butter Cream, Nectar, and Breathless. Which two do I need, and which one can I wait on? I was thinking Nectar for sure would be a good work color, but all three are very pretty in their own way.

I would go w/ Nectar, great go w/ everything color. Breathless on me was very pink. Heirloom was lavender I LOVE Desire too!!!

I like Heirloom a lot more than Breathless. Never tried Nectar.

Nectar is super dark on me. It's like a warm berry red plum on my lips. It's only slightly less intense than Black Dahlia and slightly more intense than Infatuation, but redder than either and warmer.

Breathless I have not tried, nor Heirloom.

Hmm... lol, I'm not sure if I'm more or less clear on which two I want now

I have a few different lip color samples at home that were sent to me in a swap, I'll try them all out and see if maybe I'd be better off sticking with buying a few of those shades.

I do like deeper berry shades, they look surprisingly good on me, but not so much for work. I'm more comfortable playing up my eyes at work than I am experimenting with bolder lip colors.

I have some leftover "other brand" lip glosses that I love the color of, but unfortunately they're the texture of glue sticks (I'm sure that totally just gave away which brand I'm talking about to the other "refugees" ), so maybe I mostly need to focus on finding the SN equivalents of these shades.

Since Eric starts work soon I was able to afford all three

ooh i'm so glad you got nectar. it is HG for me. (i have light-medium skin and moderately pigmented mauve pink lips).

I haven't tried Breathless yet, but I did test out Nectar and Heirloom last night. I'm really glad that I got them. They're so pretty and natural, even Nectar, despite its darker tone.
