hi girls, I ve just received my oil control serum but I dont know how to use this one. Is it suitable for under makeup? Im afraid it'd be too drying and results in dry patches not looking good with make up... so Im waiting for reviews

I have not used this as I have the opposite skintype, but it does go under your makeup.

Yup, it goes under your makeup, just like the other serums!

I've used it! It does control the oiliness and didn't seem to dry my skin out any. It didn't totally make the oilies go away, I still got shiny in the afternoon, but that's to be expected, and a big improvement over what it was! It controls it enough that my makeup doesn't disappear and slide around a ton.

Right now I'm using the Green Tea and Aloe serum as an experiment to see how it impacts oily skin. It hydrates my skin and soothes it a bit, which seems to help the oiliness a bit, though not as much as the oil control serum. It helps the oiliness on my eyelids/under eye area a lot! I never tried that with the oil control serum though, and am not sure if they are eye area safe, so if you try it, you've been warned.

So, I say give it a try for a week, or until your sample runs out! If you notice dryness, it's not for you...try the Green Tea and Aloe serum next. I much prefer using the serum to using something like Oil Control Blur or Oil Control Primer, either one of those straight on my skin does tend to dry it out...though they work great mixed in with my foundation/finishing powder.

I'd recommend the Vitamin C and Peptide Serum too. I have very oily skin, and this serum does an amazing job of controlling the oilies. My skin doesn't get oily at all the entire day.

i am using it currently. It does not really control oilies but it also acts as a moisturiser, cant rem which oil is in it as I remembered karen was saying in ano post with the same subject. HTH.
