need primer help

I have mostly balanced skin right now...if anything it can have a tendancy to get dryer (but, I do have a 4 month old that I am nursing w/3 older siblings so, I don't always manage to drink enough water). My skin tone is fair to medium and I have blue eyes and blonde hair. I keep reading descriptions and reviews and just can't decide which of the primer or products that can be used as such to choose- was orig. thinking the Pearl Powder but, I'm afraid that it will dry out my skin. I mainly want the primer to smooth my skin hide any pores...if it can elimanate the use of foundation on a daily basis that would definately be a bonus. I have used silica powder before with no problems.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Barbara

Really you can use any of the finishing products as a primer, too. I would probably try Blur Finishing powder first. It has a little tint to it, and it does contain silica. It might work as a one step layer for you. A sample of Date Bait might be a good idea, too.

Thanks- I will add those to my cart. I was considering the Ultimate Treatment Powder....I'm actually a little confused what the purpose of this is but, it looks as if it can be used as a primer too....(my confusion is to what it is supposed to be treating)...would this be worth trying too?

Thanks again,

Barbara

Definitely worth trying. I'm using it as a night treatment as the last step after my oil phase, and also as primer. It smoothes away imperfections and gives me such a nice base, that most days I can get away with just using tinted finishing powders. It zinc in it is also good for keeping my oiliness somewhat at bay and provides extra sun protection.
