hi there girls... I have got a real big problem I cant gain weight

Im 1.63 cm and just 45 kgs... I need to gain weight because I want to feel like a woman immediately

you know it seems like I havent got breasts or hips because they are too small

I am looking like a small girl in her early teens( actually 22) oh my gosh! have tried lots of things Im tired though... I ve been trying to gain weight for so long.. Ive done lots of things, went dietician,ate,ate,ate and ate but I ve never been able to gain a gr , sometimes I just did a tiny belly and thats all , thats really frustrating and pisses me off

eating much doesnt work for me... so except from this...any recommendations for me?

Gaining weight is probably not natural for your body's genetics... you are lucky that you are naturally slim. However, there are some personal trainers who specialize in body sculpting workouts and IMO this would probably be more effective for creating a "more curvaceous" or "womanly" shape than simply trying to gain weight.

Eating lots of healthy protein and antioxidants has always helped me gain muscle. Eating after a lifting session is best for most people. IDK if you can afford a personal trainer or if you are able to find weight lifting resources on your own, but from my experience, it's important to read widely and discern carefully, as there is a lot of hogwash circulating on the issue of weight lifting and nutrition. Best to keep it simple and choose exercises targeted to your body, and then do them moderately and carefully. Just my $0.02. Good luck!

woow thanks I ve added all of em to my to do list and the websites look pretty helpful... I ll read every word and gonna try to do .... I really wanna change my shape Ive got the spirit

Have you ever been tested for food allergies? If you have a history of things like anemia or IBS you might want to look into that, allergies to things like wheat can cause malnutrition in an otherwise healthy person because it inflames the digestive tract to the point it can't absorb nutrients.
My sister has the same problem you do, she is maybe 100 lbs at best most days...with stress, even smaller. She eats plenty of food, she just can't gain weight easily. She's a vegetarian, but had to start basically eating like a body builder and doing weight exercises to put on muscle because even though she is thin, she feels out of shape! Some people forget thin doesn't automatically mean in shape and healthy!

She eats lean proteins, healthy fats (nuts), plenty of fruit (especially berries), whole grains (brown rice), and lower carb veggies (like asparagus, broccoli, greens, etc...) She also drinks protein shakes and tries to eat frequent meals and snacks. Oh, and she had to quit the caffeine habit...no more coffee. The only caffeine she gets now is from dark chocolate.
Zeebs is right about muscle building, odds are it'll be the best route to getting the body you want! I'm reading a book right now you might want to check out, it's called "The New ME Diet" by Jade Teta and Keoni Teta. They are naturopaths and personal trainers with a background in biochemistry. Their book talks about how different bodies burn different things for energy, and your body type (and my sister's) fits into one of their 3 profiles. In the book they outline food and workout suggestions to help put on muscle and balance the body's hormones to keep an even weight. I'm not done with the book yet, but I really like how their approach is not "fad diet" like, but more from the place of how people should eat what fits their body best, what it can use best, and focus more on 30 minute muscle building workouts 3 times a week and daily walks instead of hours and hours of cardio. Can't say that I agree with every little thing they say (can't say that about anything I read!

) but it has lots of good info in it...let me know if you give it a read!

I have always been thin. I am 5'5" and was never over 98lbs in highschool. I am lucky, I never looked boney or sicky. I just have a small frame so things looked ok. What I did the summer going into college was drink 2 protein shakes a day w/ a high protein, low carb diet. I think I was able to get upto about 103LB. I have always been active (not really exercise, but the work I do is active as is my lifestyle), I really think the key is to be active as you gain the weight. I now range between 110-118 (37 yrs), I never watch my weight or diet.
As long as you are eating healthy try to think of it as a positive. I know people can say rude things, just don't let it get to you. When people say rude things or question me I tell them "I''m Lucky".
I forgot to add, I have low blood sugar. Sugar levels can really effect your weight. I am able to control mine most of the time w/ diet.

I agree on the body sculpting workouts. You could be hyper-metabolic(your body burns calories faster than you can take them in) or have food allergies. Personally, my boobs came in when i went on birth control in college.
I don't know that putting on weight will necessarily make you "curvy" as you seem to think, but one of the things i did in college since i was losing weight by accident (i didn't like dorm food and i LOST 15lbs my freshman year. I'm usually 5'6" 120lbs and at the time, was already bony. Losing weight was not needed or wanted) was put whole milk on my cereal. I liked it better, the dispenser was never empty, and it added some much needed calcium, protein, and fat to my overall nutrition.
eta: since it's a shape you're after, I wanted to add that a new Victoria's secret bra can do amazing things for your shape. I wear a 32A and these bras DO give me cleavage. Anything padded for ultimate lift is great.

Hi,
Before you start any exercise program, to gain weight (I'm a personal trainer) I would suggest getting your thyroid (and possibly full check up) checked out by a specialist. If everything is fine, then you can work with a trainer and dieticial to set up a healthy nutrition/exercise plan for yourself. I wouldn't recommend eating high fat foods to gain weight, you might just start storing extra fat and not acheive the look you want. Also, that kind of diet is not good for your heart. There may be things that you won't be able to change, like breast size. (working your pectorals will not give you bigger breasts!

) but you can increase your cardiorespiratory capacity, increase your strength and endurance and build muscle to give yourself a more athletic look. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you look beautiful, everyone isn't meant to be super curvy.

Ha! Mine grew when I got *off* birth control pills.

Yeah, I hope that's not what I (or the article I linked to) said. Those exercises just lift and shape the chest, they won't actually change the breasts themselves.
