Thanks, Guys! You really made my morning. You know how it is sometimes on Birthdays......they just are not quite as fun at 30 something as they were at 7!!!! However, I had a great happy laugh this morning when I saw the thread. You are the best!
Nothing too extravagant today, but I did manage to get a spiff up at the salon with a cut and color. The kids were at Grandma's most of the day, and I have to go get them soon. Definitely a good day.

Happy Birthday Jen! Hope your day was extra special and that you have many more. If you think that Birthday's aren't as much fun at 30 something as they were at 7 , try them at 50 something, actually I firmly belive that you are only as old as you think you are , and as long as you are young at heart you will always be "young" no matter what your actual age.

Thanks again, Gals. DH ended up working late and looked exhausted by the end of the night. He is bringing me my tradidtional Trader Joe's bouquet after work today, and we are going out with the kids for dinner.
I have to mention one thing I got myself for my birthday. I went to
http://www.greendimes.com and bought myself a membership to reduce our junkmail. I thought it was a cool thing to do. I'm not a serious environmentalist (more of a casual one), but it was easy, and they do a good thing.
