I prefer to trade for things I don't have in full size (ahem: bargain pink, surprise, passionate purple, l'chaim, chai, latte, espresso, portabella, impulsive) but since most people don't have the discontinued items i'm looking for(and i have everything else), I can sometimes be bribed with other things:

(angelica sent me some delicious marzipan chocolates and rocher garden confections from germany, a girl who had a polymer shop traded me some cool pens and magnets from her shop, and as a fashion girl- i love asian silk and saris which are kind of expensive here but not in asia.) If you have something cool you do/make (jewelry, polymer stuff, soaps, crochet, etc. if you have an ostrich or peacock- i'll take feathers. lol) or something cool that can really only be bought in your area (example: dominican larimar, greek shell jewelry, african ebony bracelets, etc.) and want to trade with that, let me know! I don't promise I'll always say yes(for instance, i'm not a big hello kitty fan), but i usually think it's pretty fun to experience another culture.

*I'd like to be upfront about the fact that I am not the speediest shipper. I usually take 4days to a week to get to the post office and will ship samples in a regular first class envelope, anything bigger in a padded mailer. With shipping, i generally just consider it even as long as it's a swap (i'm mailing to you and you're mailing to me)

Are parcels are bundled, labeled and ready to go out tuesday (monday is memorial day, no mail). Andrea and Tracy- yours will definitely go out tuesday, first class mail in an envelope (with card stock to keep it's shape and keep things from moving around). Tiara- I am going on vacation tuesday-friday and i'm not sure of the postage for your bubble mailer so it might not go out until next saturday, wanted to give you a heads up. It's closed and ready, but not sure about the weight/postage to just stick it on.

That's okay Sam, no worries! Your box isn't likely to mail until later in the week/weekend anyway, so enjoy your vacation and pop it in the mail once you've had time to get to the post office! Hope you have a great vacation! I used to work in a restaurant, even a day off was cause for celebration.

yea, i worked 28 hours this weekend (saturday and sunday). my feet hurt...lol
